What's New in Bonusly: June 2026

Great recognition reaches people at the right moment, even when the person sending it is in back-to-back meetings or juggling a million priorities. And great company awards bring the whole team together: both the people who did amazing work, and the people ready to cheer them on.

Our product updates this June are designed to make both of those moments easier. Things like Delegate Giving keeps appreciation moving when leaders can't send it themselves, while new nomination features give more of your team a voice after the stories are in.

And if you're connecting Bonusly to the rest of your AI stack, our new MCP connector meets you where you're at today.

Below's a recap of what we shipped, and here's a link to everything that went live last month. Read on for the details.

Delegate Giving: Recognition Doesn't Have to Wait

Your VP is on a flight. A team just delivered a major win. Normally, that recognition would have to wait. With Delegate Giving, it doesn't have to.

A trusted delegate can now send recognition on behalf of a leader, using their assigned permissions and points balance without sharing credentials. The recognition still comes from the principal giver, so the moment still feels intentional. Meanwhile, the admin work happens behind the scenes.

Whether you're an executive assistant supporting one leader or several, your leader's recognition can now stays timely, secure, and authentic.

Nomination Voting: Turn Annual Awards into Crowdsourced Endorsements

Every good award program starts with a great story—but deciding who wins an award shouldn't necessarily depend on everyone writing one.

With our new nomination voting features, employees can both nominate peers and cast votes for a winner once finalists are chosen. Voters can see nominees and anonymized nomination stories, which keeps voting focused on things like core values and overall impact. Votes can be cast and updated until the voting window closes, and behind the scenes, admins can track results, finalize winners, and wrap up the program with confidence.

The result is a simpler, more transparent way to involve more voices in your award program.

Bonusly MCP Server

Bonusly has always worked wherever you do. That's by design. Recognition works best when it's woven into everyday experiences, not tucked away in a separate system.

That’s why we’re excited to bring you Bonusly MCP. Our MCP connector is a simple, effective way to pull Bonusly recognition and reward data into external workflows or reports you've built independently. If you're already using an AI agent like Claude to run automated workflows, Bonusly MCP makes it easy for that agent to tap into Bonusly's data — no custom API build required.

For connector setup and what you can ask, check out how to get started with our MCP Server and our developer documentation.

MS Entra provisioning

If your company runs on Microsoft Entra, user provisioning just got simpler. Bonusly now supports SCIM 2.0 provisioning from Entra, with the same extended attributes our SCIM 1.1 integration supports for Okta and similar providers.

That's a practical win for IT teams juggling multiple backend HRIS systems or complex identity setups. Fewer manual user syncs. Fewer gaps between who should be in Bonusly and who actually is. Your people team spends less time chasing access and more time running the program.

A feed and give box that feel better to use

Recognition quality got attention this month, too. People can now hide posts they don't want to see without reporting them. When someone does report a post, it auto-hides for everyone until an admin resolves it, so busy teams aren't left staring at content that already raised a flag. Admin resolution options got clearer language as well.

In the give box, new undo and redo shortcuts mean a stray keystroke doesn't cost you a draft you spent ten minutes on.

Programs, incentives, and reporting updates

Leaderboard exports now let you pull the top 5 givers and receivers for any timeframe straight from the panel, and hashtag views can switch between most recognized and top givers (with export there too). Handy when you're prepping a town hall slide or closing out a values campaign.

For incentives, admins can add a personal message when approving a claim, so the approval email feels a little more human. There's also a new option to let people share claim proof on the feed, turning completed incentives into visible wins the whole team can celebrate.

Closed nomination programs can now be archived, keeping your active admin view focused while past cycles stay easy to find and reactivate if you need them.
