Cards are here for everyone
Some moments need more than one voice. A farewell. A work anniversary. A promotion, a new baby, a teammate heading out on leave. A single post in the feed is nice, but a card signed by the whole team is something people remember.
We introduced Cards recently. Here are a few ways to make yours count.
More ways to use Cards
- Mark a new hire's first 90 days. Their onboarding buddy starts the card, the people who helped them ramp sign it, and it lands on day 90 as a "look how far you've come" moment.
- Wrap up a cross-functional project with a card for the project lead, and invite the partners from other teams to sign so they know their leadership made a difference.
- Celebrate a certification, a course, or a mentorship program someone just finished.
- Get ahead of Boss's Day in October with a card from the team to a manager who makes work better.
- Recognize the volunteers who organize your ERGs, lunch-and-learns, or office traditions.
Tips for making a card feel personal
- Mix it up. A short video from a remote teammate or a photo from last year's offsite lands differently than another line of text.
- Bring back the good stuff. Attaching a past recognition post puts an old shout-out right alongside the new messages.
- Share the link. Anyone at your company with the link can sign until the card is delivered, so drop it in a team channel to catch anyone you missed.
Cards for people outside Bonusly
Some of the people worth celebrating don't have a Bonusly login. Now you can type their email address into the "Who is this card for?" field, add their name, and create a card just like any other.
A few ideas to get you started:
- A longtime client marking a partnership milestone, signed by everyone on the account team.
- A contractor or agency partner wrapping up a project, with thanks from the people who worked alongside them.
- A new hire before their first day, welcomed by the team they're about to join.
- A retired teammate who has already left but still deserves a proper send-off.
- A volunteer or community partner who showed up for your team's service day.

Adding gifts to Awards: give the gift, not just the points
For recognition moments that deserve a little more ceremony, you can now attach an item from your rewards catalog directly to an award.
Make it recognizable, personal, and intentional: use the same gift for signature awards to build a tradition, let managers or peers choose within a set budget when a personal touch matters, and save gifts for milestones or standout wins. For global teams, use the country filter to make sure recipients can receive the gift you choose.

Bizy gets a memory for reports and a source of company knowledge
Bizy officially launched in August. In September, we made those answers easier to keep, and gave Bizy more to work with.
Save the reports Bizy builds for you
Ask Bizy a data question, get a chart you love, and keep it. No more asking the same question every month and hoping the answer comes back in the same shape.
Here's where saved reports pay off:
- Monthly culture check-ins. Save a recognition-by-department chart once, then rerun it each month to see which teams are picking up steam and which could use a nudge.
- Leadership updates and QBRs. Pull up the reports you already trust, expand them full screen, and export them straight into your deck.
- Before-and-after snapshots. Save a participation view before you launch a new award or program, then rerun it a month later to show the impact.
- One home for your go-to views. A dashboard of saved reports means your favorite charts are a click away, not buried in last month's chat.

Teach Bizy what makes your company unique
Bizy knows a lot about recognition. It doesn't automatically know your holiday calendar or your PTO policy. Now it can.
Admins can open the new Knowledge tab in Bizy Settings to write short notes (like "2026 holidays") or upload documents in formats like PDF, Markdown, or Word. Bizy turns that content into articles it can search, so your people can ask company-specific questions and get answers grounded in your own material. A few ideas for what to teach Bizy, and the questions your people can start asking:
- Your holiday calendar and office closures: "Is the office open the Friday after Thanksgiving?"
- Benefits and open enrollment dates: "When does open enrollment start this year?"
- New hire FAQs: "Who do I ask about getting my laptop set up?"
- Event and tradition details: "When is our annual volunteer day, and how do I sign up?"
More that shipped in September
- More gift cards for global teams. Gift cards from Runa, our newest rewards provider, are now live, expanding the catalog in international markets. If your catalog automatically adds new items, they're already there.
- Microsoft Teams: You can now send Bonusly posts to more than one channel in the same team and manage those channels right from Bonusly, with private channel support coming once Microsoft approves it. See Setting up and using Bonusly in Microsoft Teams for the details.
