Recognition matters — and we have the accolades to prove it!
I’ve always enjoyed building things. There’s something special about starting something from scratch and bringing it to fruition.
Bonusly began as a side project in 2012 because I was interested in how technology was changing the way we work. I saw how the knowledge economy fostered more employee-centric management practices and built Bonusly to enable real-time employee recognition and feedback.
And I’ve been working with some brilliant people to continue building Bonusly ever since.
Eight years and more than 15 million bonuses later, I’m proud to share two huge wins for our Bonusly team:
For the 2nd year in a row, Bonusly made the Inc. 5000 list! 🚀
The Inc. 5000 lists the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, and our placement is a result of two major factors:
- Our team’s hard work and dedication
- The growing need to engage employees and foster connections at work
And as more companies transition to full-time remote or distributed workforces, engagement platforms like ours enable teams to connect with their work and each other in meaningful ways. You can read more about what our inclusion on this list means to Bonusly.
We’ve been named a 2020 Colorado Companies to Watch winner! 🎉
We love calling Colorado home, and being named a Colorado Company to Watch is something I’m deeply proud of. For my out-of-state peers, Colorado Companies to Watch recognizes 2nd stage companies that develop innovative products, create quality jobs, enrich their communities, and have a powerful economic impact in Colorado.
While we have amazing team members working all over the country, Colorado is Bonusly’s home base. In the 3.5 years I’ve lived here, I’ve watched the state grow into one of the country’s top markets for technology and innovation. Bonusly is a quickly growing company and we’re just getting started. We’re going to continue building new features and products to help organizations engage their teams, build positive workplace cultures, and achieve incredible success.
From the start, we’ve been guided by the belief that people are what drives business success. With this in mind, I’d like to end this post with a quote from our Customer Communication Specialist, Adrianne Hipsher, on why recognition is important to her.
“Having the opportunity to give out recognition and add on to other’s recognition helps me stay in touch with all of the amazing things each team is accomplishing. I can celebrate teammates that I don’t talk to often or get the chance to work with. Feeling connected is so valuable in a time when we are asked to isolate and on the days where I am feeling off, seeing our Bonusly feed explode with positive thoughts is the burst of energy that motivates me to re-engage and reminds me why I love our company so much.”
Keep on recognizing!
