On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe vs. Wade, the landmark case allowing people the constitutional liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction.

On May 3, 2022, an initial draft majority opinion from the Supreme Court was leaked that previewed a majority vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade. 

Work doesn't happen in a vacuum and legislative decisions like these can have a significant impact on peoples' mental health, productivity, and feelings of psychological safety in the workplace.

The legality of abortion access directly affects people seeking abortions and indirectly affects all of us. In March 2022, there were approximately 159.8 million full-time workers and 26.4 million part-time workers in the United States.

Planned Parenthood is working to ensure that affordable and safe access to reproductive health care continues to be available.
