1. Meet your team where they're already at in Slack

Keeping your full team informed and aligned on key updates just got a little easier. With the new Company Announcements section on the Bonusly Slack Home page, users can now stay up to date on the latest initiatives, incentives, and company news.

What’s included?
Your organization’s most recent announcements, each featuring a thumbnail image and, when relevant, a ‘Claim Incentive’ button.

2. Direct Slack notifications:‍

Admins can now send employee announcements from Bonusly that also land directly in Slack.. By selecting the ‘Send Slack Message from Bonusly’ checkbox in the web app, admins ensure announcements land right in users' Slack Messages tab.

This feature simplifies internal communications, making sure important updates are always in the right channels—at the right times.

3. Give add-on points through Slack

Adding on to an existing recognition post with a comment or giving additional points is a breeze with our new add-on button. Click the button on the feed within Slack to join in on the recognition or celebration.

4. Recognize, reward, and celebrate directly from Slack

We’ve revamped the Bonusly Slack Home page to make navigation easier and improve overall usability. The new layout creates a clearer hierarchy, allowing users to find the information they need faster.

5. Build the approach that’s right for you

One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to notifications. That’s why we’ve introduced customizable settings to help all users control how Bonusly messages you in Slack so you can stay in the loop on the updates that matter most to you, without the noise.

6. Give smarter, simpler recognition with "/give"

Recognizing your teammates should be easy and intuitive, and we’ve made the /give command even smarter.

When you type /give and send it in any Slack channel, a modal opens with fields pre-populated based on what you entered. You can include some or all details or leave fields blank—it’s your choice. This update provides a guided experience, helping users get recognition right the first time.

7. Check out Your Full Giving History

Ever wondered what recognition you’ve given recently? Now, you can directly from Slack with the new Giving History feature which highlights your latest 15 messages. This feature helps you track your giving and reflect on any patterns that might emerge.
